A tool for assessing the competencies that UOC students develop over the course of their studies, a technological and teaching solution that goes beyond the normal assessment practices that were being used previously.
This competency assessment is displayed graphically in an individual report for each student from the start of the programme through to graduation.
CodeLab
A laboratory-style tool for teaching programming online. CodeLab provides a laboratory environment for practical learning, providing the student with a learning plan based on a series of exercises, a visual record of their learning progress and a platform where teachers and students can communicate.
Controvèrsies
An environment bringing together forums where students can participate in public debates on contentious issues, with a second space for group work prior to the debate.
Teaching chatbot
An experimental project that includes a chatbot in the online classroom to answer students' questions about the course content.
Collaborative assessment of master's degree final projects
This sought to improve the management and assessment of master's degree final projects. We created a more effective web tool for processing the allocation of students to a final project committee and for the members of the assessment committee (final project tutor, external assessor and coordinating professor/panel chair) to submit their assessments.
Competency self-assessment
Self-assessment tool for evaluating the competencies developed after each continuous assessment activity, boosting three key aspects of competency acquisition: critical reflection, self-regulated study and empowerment.
Inclou
A project that analyses the main learning resources currently in use by the UOC, in order to identify gaps or barriers that make them inaccessible to students with visual impairments.
