The uniqueness of our online educational model lies in its ability to aid students in acquiring the digital skills required by today's society. Our priority is to train citizens and professionals to observe their surroundings with a critical eye, familiarize themselves with other realities and be prepared to tackle global and social challenges.
The UOC's programmes of study also hone in on interdisciplinary competencies aimed at opening students' eyes to the world around them, a world in which lines between the north and south, between what's local and what's global, and between country and continent are inevitably blurred.
Our response to this ever-changing world around us has been to turn to the 2030 Agenda to add a global, ethical commitment, including the gender perspective, to the interdisciplinary competencies we target on all our training programmes.
