Milestones

  • September 1996: 115 students start on the first academic year of the Licentiate Degree in Law.
  • February 1998: Over 500 Law students.
  • September 2000: The Licentiate Degree in Law in Spanish starts with 74 students. The total number of students enrolled (Catalan and Spanish) reaches 1,378.
  • October 2001: The second-cycle of the Licentiate Degree in Political and Administrative Sciences.
  • March 2005: 1st Internet, Law and Politics Conference: The Changes in Law and Politics in the Information Society.
  • September 2008: The new Bachelor's Degree in Law with 1,843 students.
  • September 2010: The Bachelor's Degree in Criminology with 490 students.
  • September 2017: The Bachelor's Degree in International Relations.
  • September 2022: The Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration and Political Science.

The Faculty of Law and Political Science celebrates its 25th anniversary

The UOC's Faculty of Law and Political Science celebrated its 25th anniversary with an event at Barcelona's Fundació Joan Miró on 22 June 2022. This festive, commemorative event was attended by members of faculty, administrative staff, course instructors, tutors and graduates.
