Lessons we have learned from the crisis, Jordi Galí
The inaugural lecture marks the start of the new academic year. But not just this. It is the time each year when the UOC community comes together to hear a leading expert debate and reflect on an aspect of the reality that surrounds us. This year we are accompanied by Jordi Galí, who invites us to analyse our current situation in terms of the economy. Thus, the crisis acts as the focal point for his lecture. A crisis which, far from pushing us under, has opened our minds to how to build a new world full of challenges and opportunities. Welcome to the inaugural lecture 2014/2015.
Ante la crisis, salimos adelante
At the start of the new academic year with everything still to do, we are looking for a constructive spirit that can rise from this crisis through the sum of our personal experiences. We would like you to share with us all those moments when you have thought “yes, we’ll get through”. Anything will do: a sentence that has made you smile, an article in the press, a project that has been set up, an idea brought to life, an important moment in your life, etc.
The #ensensortim [we’ll get through] campaign on Twitter and Instagram aims to find contributions that enrich and personalize the inaugural lecture, because the future is built collaboratively.
