The UOC's Internship and Mobility Services are responsible for managing external academic internships. With the internship, which provides a first introduction to the reality of the work environment, students are brought into contact with the professional world.
And through cooperative education agreements, it offers companies or institutions the possibility of bringing staff trained in different areas into their team. The goal of this agreement is to complete the student's training with practical experience with professionals working in the corresponding fields.
Internships can be carried out at centres and institutions in Spain or abroad, depending on the internship option: on-site, blended or online.
These courses are part of the programme of studies and in which the student receives personalized academic supervision. A professional from the internship centre and a teacher ensure that the internship is carried out in accordance with the agreed formative project.
They are not part of any programme of studies, although they must be related with the course of study that the student is taking. They are voluntary internships.
